This temporary assignment may transition to regular status. The job site location is located at the JJ Pickle Research Campus.

Purpose

This admin position supports the PSTC research group within CEER. A strong ability to work independently is preferred and flexible hours are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Duties include monthly accounting, reconciliation, and certification; annual account extension requests, ethics statements, entertainment reimbursements (VPE and VP2), travel reimbursements, gift deposits, independent contractor payments, ITS bills.

  • Overtime payment processing and nitrogen billing. Appointment and allocations, contracts and invoices, newsletter and brochure updates as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school graduation or GED. Three years of clerical experience. A financial background with experience in UT accounting and payment processing.

Preferred Qualifications

A working knowledge of define and workday, with the ability to navigate UT websites in order to perform required duties.

Hourly Rate

$26.73

  • The work schedule is to be discussed and agreed with the supervisor.
