The right candidate for this position is someone with extensive experience in Safety who will support our projects. This person will constantly be responsible for successfully integrating safety initiatives into the functional operation of the different projects by maintaining processes and procedures to prevent injuries and violations of the law or company policies and minimize the environmental impact of our operations.
About the role
As a Sr. Accountant/FP&A Analyst, you will assist in month-end close, financial statement preparation, journal entries, fixed assets, inter-company transactions, account reconciliations, general ledger management, cost reports, business plans, quarterly forecasting, investor/owner reporting, and various financial analyses including variance analysis, ROI, lease vs. buy, and trend analysis.
Essential Duties:
- Daily Responsibilities:
- Prepare and enter general ledger journal entries.
- Handle job cost entries, including weekly payroll uploads and project-related accruals.
- Complete financial statements, cash flows, and other reports.
- Perform monthly account and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with internal, 401K, Sales Tax, and other financial audits.
- Conduct financial analyses, including variance analyses and ROI.
- Provide interim, proforma, and future forecasted financials.
- Assist with tax filings and banking processes.
- Maintain and reconcile the Company Fixed Asset list.
- Financial Controls & Compliance:
- Support year-end audit activities.
- Collaborate with various departments to complete duties.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of information.
- Team Leadership & Process Improvement:
- Implement process enhancements for efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate flexibility and commitment by performing other duties as assigned.

- 3-5 years of experience in General Accounting, Audit, Financial Reporting, or Financial Analysis.
