Job Description

In this role you will be managing the Training and Education Employee and Partner Training Program operated by the Palo Alto Networks Global Enablement team. Global Enablement is responsible for providing technical training and certifications to our employees, partners, and customers.  

You will be the professional that oversees and coordinates the scheduled training activities for Employee and Partner Training (EPT). As Manager, Education and Delivery - EMEA & JAPAC you will be responsible for oversight and day-to-day operations of the program, including, but not limited to, managing the quarterly scheduling of internal Instructors and Subcontract Partner Instructors, Operational oversight for managing the LMS for course scheduling, PO management for outsourced training activities, and the and communication of program status to upper management and executive leadership.

Extensive familiarity with program management best practices and flexibility are required to support the Delivery teams, ATP’s and Partner / channel managers.

You will serve as the face of the department in cross functional communications and actively represent the department in numerous Palo Alto Networks internal and external forums. You will be the primary contact between the department and the various program stakeholders.  

Your Impact

  • Lead the planning process and implementing best practices ensuring that the EPT program meet the high professional standards and the needs of the stakeholders. 
  • Create and manage components of the program including scheduling, LMS management, outsourced training activities, Instructor assignment, processed invoices and payment.
  • Provide leadership and management for the Technical Trainers in EMEA and JAPAC theaters including but not limited to individual goal setting and tracking, coordination with NAM team counterparts, instructional scheduling, career development guidance and coordination of cross-pollination opportunities.
  • Build processes and best practices for quality control for all program activities. 
  • Own the development of work plans, project milestones and track processes while maintaining communications with program stakeholders.
  • In conjunction with project partners, help ensure definition of project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop project timeline and landmarks using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Build and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Run day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.
  • Manage, maintain, and improve metrics and KPI’s.
  • Timely response to inbound requests for Training Schedule information including meeting Instructor utilization targets. 
  • Reconcile Partner Invoices against service delivery records and approve payment to partners.  
  • Manage the Subcontract Partner training activities including invoicing tracking. 
  • Meet the budgetary requirements of the program, including regular reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Learning & Development, cyber-security, and/or program management role
  • PMP certification is preferred 
  • Certified Scrum Master along with knowledge and application of agile methodology is preferred
  • Meticulous with details and timelines to ensure accuracy
  • Extremely organized and able to manage the coordination of multiple events globally
  • Positive, learning, collaborative, global and growth mindset
  • High degree of professional credibility, including responsiveness, business focus, sound judgment and the ability to prioritize
  • High concern for giving learners an exce
