Senior Software Engineer, Shared Services

As a member of the Shared Services team, you will get to help define and build the tooling and infrastructure that powers our application platform at Human Interest. We strive to build a shared platform that can be leveraged by engineering teams to ensure our systems are available, resilient, and secure.

What you get to do every day

• Build robust and scalable solutions to continue serving our growing customer base
• Define and build tooling for service oriented architecture
• Build the infrastructure that supports the company using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Empower developers to build supporting infrastructure in a sustainable way
• Immerse yourself in the domain of payroll deduction-based investments
• Scale our platform and processes to continue serving our growing customer base
• Improve existing monitoring to provide end to end observability into our platform
• Mentor engineers to ensure growth

What you bring to the role

• Proven track record delivering cloud base software and business results
• Experience provisioning and managing cloud computing platforms (we are using AWS)
• Articulate verbal and written communication
• Eagerness to share knowledge across engineering teams
• Have worked in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Bonus for RDBMS experience. Ideally PostgreSQL
• Bonus for Javascript/Typescript build tools. Gulp, Typescript, Webpack
• Ability to zoom out or in on a project
• 5+ years of experience delivering software products and building infrastructure

Compensation - The salary range target for the role seniority described in this job description is $185,000 - $235,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, geographic location, compensation/equity mix, and market data. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives such as equity awards, short-term incentives, or sales compensation.
