Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking professional with extensive experience in the Vertical Transportation (Elevator and Escalator) industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of design, modernization, and maintenance programs, as well as the ability to translate complex technical information into clear, actionable recommendations for clients.
The Senior Vertical Transportation Consultant serves as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for clients within a designated service area, leading efforts to deliver exceptional consulting services while meeting revenue targets established by leadership. This role combines technical knowledge, client management, and mentoring responsibilities to strengthen our consulting team and improve client experience.

What You’ll Do:
The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed in this position. They are not intended to prescribe or restrict the assignments that management may make.
Generate a customer pipeline by marketing LB services for all given lines of business in the service area. This may include, but is not limited to, exhibiting at regional conferences, conducting client lunch-and-learns, visiting potential and current client locations, and writing industry-specific blogs and articles.
Participate in all aspects of project development, including but not limited to: bid and contract development, conceptual planning, design, construction administration, maintenance audits, and modernization projects for vertical transportation systems.
Assist with active projects to ensure client satisfaction, quality, timeliness of delivery, and timely billing and payment.
Assist with the planning, coordination, billing, delivery, and all other activities associated with other business lines in the assigned service area as requested.
Provide scheduled and requested reports to business support functions and leadership, including but not limited to equipment and systems status, percentage of work completed, billing percentages, contract additions, change orders, and deficiency lists.
Mentor, coach, and develop Consultants and Associate Consultants in industry knowledge, best practices, and customer generation and service actions. Acts as the subject matter expert to other Consultants.
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that would provide the required knowledge and abilities.
10+ years of experience required; elevator industry experience strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the industry, including expert knowledge in one or more of the following areas: elevators, escalators, moving walkways, mid- and/or high-rise building design, specifications, and analysis, or other vertical transportation equipment.
Knowledge and adherence to applicable industry ASME codes, standards, and safety rules.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to coordinate the design and implementation of systems with the architectural team, building owner, management companies, municipalities, etc., as well as the work and time of self and others.
Highly organized and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills.
Deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.
Ability to maintain current knowledge and understanding of industry operational and equipment trends.
