Absci is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for a 6-month, full-time contract based at our Corporate Headquarters in Vancouver, WA. This highly impactful role will be integral to the assessment, resolution, and improvement of diverse network challenges within our dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with deep technical expertise who excels both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, install, configure, and support enterprise network systems, including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure minimal
• downtime
• Work closely with IT Operations and Help Desk team members to deliver on network-related projects and issue resolution
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Knowledge of enterprise server and storage solutions, including VMWare
• Experience with AWS networking/server/storage environments

Qualifications: 

• 6 years of related experience, a mixture of education and experience will be considered.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade networks.
• Advanced proficiency in managing Palo Alto Firewalls (highly desired).
• Practical knowledge of VMware platforms and AWS network/server/storage architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 -130,000/year. The range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base salary for this job at the time of posting. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position will be employed through a staffing agency and will receive benefits through the staffing agency, including Medical insurance, Vision insurance, Dental insurance, and 401(k)
