About the role

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full-cycle recruitment which includes designing and executing efficient and effective recruitment strategies; working with hiring managers in the organization to fill positions quickly and efficiently with the highest quality talent. This position will work in partnership with the team to expand marketing recruitment campaigns and utilize proven recruitment techniques, while strategizing and implementing new methods to increase overall applicant flow and brand awareness.

 

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manages the recruitment lifecycle for mid to senior-level positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and securing top talent.
  • Establishes a creative sourcing & recruitment strategy to proactively find and screen quality candidates.
  • Tracks metrics and uses data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns and sourcing strategies.
  • Manages the candidate experience, solicits feedback, communicates status to candidates and hiring managers.
  • Partners with HR & Corporate Communications teams on data management, job requisitions/postings, job offers, social media initiatives, advertising, and best practices.
  • Partners with Human Resources to establish and maintain collaborative recruiting communications about potential candidates identified.
  • Serves as a talent advisor and consults leaders on effective strategies to achieve talent needs and educate and train on recruiting best practices, processes and hiring laws.
  • Develops relationships and meets regularly with HR Managers and hiring managers to understand business needs to develop and recommend effective and strategic recruiting strategies.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with HR Managers and hiring managers to plan and execute talent needs.
  • Executes a compliant recruiting process with passive candidates, while managing positions and candidates in an applicant tracking system.
  • Reviews and recommends process improvements to ensure our recruitment process is efficient, effective, and proactively meets the needs of the business.
  • Identifies and manages strategic search firm relationships.
  • Stays abreast of external marketplace/industry trends and implements/shares learnings.
  • May be involved in other recruitment-based programs, including diversity initiatives, student outreach efforts, college recruiting, immigration, manager training opportunities, etc.
  • Communicates important company information to candidates such as mission, vision, values, history, products and services, compensation and benefits.
  • Develops and maintains influential relationships with internal contacts and external contacts (vocational schools, agencies, colleges, community outreach/development organizations, etc.), championing the organization and its culture.
  • Attends recruiting events including job fairs and college recruiting as needed.
  • Performs special projects within the Human Resources Department as assigned.
  • Proactively researches and evaluates new sourcing and research ideas or methods to create innovative sourcing strategies which meet the company's needs and standards.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field. 7-10 years of experience in talent acquisition (or similar), or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience recruiting in medical device and/or high-tech fields preferred.

 

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in applicant tracking systems
  • Ability to collaborate with internal departments and develop hiring strategies and profiles
  • Advanced knowledge of effective hiring platforms that attract suitable applicants
  • Exceptional ability to screen candidates, compile shortlists and interview candidates
  • Experience in creating awareness of the company brand and establishing professional relationships with candidates
  • Knowledge of EEO and OFCCP practices and procedures, understanding of Federal and State laws
  • Experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and practices
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • May be assigned to lead and direct the work of HR co-ops
