Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare site layouts, including runways, taxiways, tarmacs, and terminal site designs, as well as utility plans, in support of aviation infrastructure projects.
- Perform engineering calculations and analysis to support design decisions.
- Ensure project timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met in collaboration with project managers.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and local agencies to ensure project requirements are met.
- Review and interpret survey reports, maps, and as-built drawings.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and cost estimates.
- Stay current with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
- EIT Certification or ability to sit for the exam within 12 months of hire.
- Aptitude and demonstrated hands-on experience with computer applications in Civil Engineering in AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley OpenRoads Designer, preferred.
- Excellent computer, writing, communication, and customer service skills.
- Exposure to aviation design standards and software is a plus.
