Fresno Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) is dedicated to providing its participants with comprehensive health and social supports that are proven to effectively manage chronic conditions and to reduce the risk for premature institutionalization. PACE staff are leaders in the “aging in place” industry and we have had the honor of serving Fresno, Bakersfield and Orange County seniors and their families/caregivers.
Job Summary
The Regional Director of Outreach is responsible for enrolling participants in IIH Health Plans and managing Community Health Advisors in our markets. The Regional Director of Outreach will market and represent IIH Health Plans with the intention of initiating enrollments. The Regional Director of Outreach will also be responsible for generating leads, creating, and maintaining relationships, developing new referral sources, representing IIH Health Plans with professionalism and ultimately enrolling participants into an IIH Health Plan. This position will be responsible for training each Community Health Advisor and overseeing staff in our markets while ensuring performance from the team.
Essential Job Functions
Duties include, but are not limited to:
• Generate leads.
• Manage and support staff.
• Execute sales presentations to individual prospects as well as outside business accounts.
• Represent PACE at community functions. (Chamber of Commerce, Health Fair, etc.)
• Strong listening skills to ensure prospects needs are being met.
• Have a thorough understanding of the PACE model and all service offerings in order to accurately describe the plan to
others.
• Continuously evaluates and identifies opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the organization.
• Attend and participate in staff meetings, in-services, projects, and committees as assigned.
• Adhere to and support the center’s practices, procedures, and policies including assigned break times and attendance.
• Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner; and perform all other related duties as assigned.
• Be flexible in schedule of hours worked.
• May require use of personal vehicle
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Proficient knowledge of computer skills. MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Ability to speak, read, writes, and understands English effectively at a level appropriate for the job.
• Knowledge of general office procedures, equipment and filing systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to quickly learn department policies, procedures, goals, and services.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to change priorities regularly.
• Must be able to PACE State Administered PACE Marketing exam.

• Ability to access all areas of the center throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds occasionally, 15 pounds frequently, and 7 pounds constantly; required to obtain assistance of
another qualified employee when attempting to lift or transfer objects over 25 pounds.
• Requires constant hand grasp and finger dexterity; frequent sitting, standing, walking and repetitive leg and arm
movements, occasional bending, reaching forward and overhead; squatting and kneeling.
• Ability to communicate verbally with an excellent comprehension of the English language.
• Work is generally performed in an indoor, well-lighted, well-ventilated, heated, and air-conditioned environment.
Experience
• Minimum of two (2) years of demonstrated successful experience in the healthcare field of work
• Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population.
• Previous management experience desired
Education and Certification
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Is medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up-to-date before engaging in direct participant
contact.<
