About the role

Redaptive is seeking a Senior Manager, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) responsible for strategic growth and management of the O&M service line-of-business within Redaptive.  In this role, you will manage and grow a US and India based Customer Care Maintenance team that responds to, tracks and resolves customer and internally driven maintenance requests in support of our ever-expanding commercial solutions portfolio of sustainability and energy efficiency projects, inclusive of LED Lighting, whole building HVAC systems (e.g., packaged rooftop units, boilers, chillers, split systems, heat pumps, VFDs, etc.), commercial solar systems, natural gas generators, electric vehicle charging stations, power meters and other emerging technologies in the efficiency and renewables industry.
We are looking for someone who can develop a strategic vision for the O&M team and efficiently scale the function within both our US and India based customer care maintenance support teams.  This role requires someone who can develop and execute on strategic projects, is highly organized and a creative problem solver. Communication with internal and external stakeholders is critical, in addition to managing activities across multiple departments to support the ongoing maintenance of our energy, metering and efficiency projects. 
Must be located in, or willing to relocate to the Denver Metro Area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop vision and growth strategy for the O&M team in support of Redaptive’s business and growth objectives.
  • Negotiate Service Level Agreements, pricing, and overall maintenance agreements with third-party maintenance providers.
  • Develop and manage a team of US and India based maintenance services customer care coordinators and managers.
  • Develop industry leading client support, response and resolution systems and procedures for a high volume of customer maintenance tickets across all types of energy, efficiency, renewable generation and metering projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead the implementation of process changes.
  • Ensure O&M partners adhere to all safety requirements, embodying a Safety-First culture at all times while on client premises.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Products Team to build-in the capabilities for robust preventive and predictive maintenance protocols for new product offerings.
  • Monitor and report on O&M Team’s results to ensure on-time delivery and quality of work to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage special programs (one-off transformational efforts).
  • Analyze, create, manage, and achieve annual O&M financial and operational targets, in alignment with corporate objectives and direction.

Job Requirements/Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of maintenance services operations management with 8 + years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience managing and growing maintenance services teams and systems in a fast-scaling business is a requirement
  • Experience working with and developing non-US based support teams a plus
  • Understanding of Lighting, HVAC, power metering and renewable generation systems in Commercial & Industrial facilities
  • Solar or other generation technologies a plus.
  • Knowledge of the principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination, and execution. This includes maintenance planning, resource allocation, staffing, and leadership techniques.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing a diverse, remote O&M services team (including management of international employees) and tracking performance.

  • Independent and able to work under pressure & tight deadline.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate to all levels of the organization.
