Certified Medical Assistant

· Room patients and collect vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.

· Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and in-office treatments.

· Administer injections and perform point-of-care testing as ordered.

· Scribe during patient visits and prepare documentation for provider review in the EMR.

· Verify and prepare patient charts, ensuring labs, imaging, pathology, and referral reports are complete.

· Sterilize instruments, operate the autoclave, and maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and clinical supplies.

· Triage patient clinical calls and respond to EMR tasks, pharmacy coordination, and patient communications.

· Manage medication samples and inventory in compliance with clinical protocols.

· Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and safety procedures.

· Completion of an accredited MA program or 1 year of hands-on clinical experience.

· Certification from AAMA, NHA, AMT, NCCT, or AMCA.

· High School Diploma or GED.
