Position Overview
The Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (Illinois EPA) is seeking a highly qualified individual with a strong background in the Illinois Environmental Protection Act and Illinois EPA programs to serve as a Senior Public Service Administrator, Option 4, for the Bureau of Water/Public Water Supply/Groundwater Section.

Essential Functions
- Serves as the Section Manager, directing the activities of the technical and professional staff for the Bureau of Water (BOW), Public Water Supplies (PWS), Groundwater (GW) Section, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA)
- Serves as a full-line supervisor to staff within GW programs.
- Performs and directs complex groundwater studies.
- Serves as a liaison to management steering committees.
- Serves as Liaison representing the Agency on matters involving water supplies.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned, which are reasonably within the scope of duties enumerated above.
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of college with coursework in geology, hydrogeology and groundwater modeling.
