Staff Accountant

Malaria No More is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Staff Accountant to support our finance team in maintainingaccurate financial records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external reporting requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Process and record day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expense reports 
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements on a monthly basis 
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations 
• Maintain and organize financial documentation for audits and internal reviews 
• Support budget tracking and financial reporting for grants and donor-funded programs 
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with implementing process improvements 
• Assist with payroll preparation and benefit reporting as needed 
• Collaborate with Operations and Development teams on financial tracking and reporting 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in nonprofit or general accounting 
• Proficiency in NetSuiteand Excel; experience with Concur or similar platforms a plus 
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines 
• Familiarity with nonprofit accounting and restricted fund tracking is preferred
