What you'll be doing

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

Support qualified Psychologists in delivering high-quality psychological assessments, interventions and person-centred care to patients.
Build therapeutic relationships with patients, co-facilitating groups and delivering low-intensity psychological interventions under supervision.
Work collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT), contributing psychological perspectives to patient care and recovery planning.
Maintain accurate clinical records, assist with outcome measures, and support service evaluation, audit and research activities.
Receive regular clinical supervision and gain valuable experience in a supportive environment, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

What you'll bring to the role

The successful candidate will hold a Psychology degree (minimum 2:1) and ideally have Graduate Basis with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Previous experience working in a mental health, healthcare or social care setting is desirable, along with a sound understanding of psychological theory and evidence-based practice.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build positive therapeutic relationships with patients and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational skills, the ability to maintain accurate clinical records and effectively manage competing priorities are essential, as is a compassionate, professional approach and a commitment to ongoing learning and development.
