<p dir="ltr"><strong>Qubit Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Senior Researcher to lead our project on fault-tolerant quantum computing applications</strong><strong> as a part of its development to develop fault tolerant quantum computing algorithms and perform resource estimation for chemistry application. </strong></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>This role involves developing fault-tolerant techniques, conducting detailed simulations, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.</strong></p><p><br/><br/></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>The perfect fit for this job</strong></p><p dir="ltr">We are seeking a senior scientist who is an excellent communicator, multitasker and detail-oriented with a strong background in quantum computing, error correction. A scientist who is at ease with teamwork and collaboration.<br/></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Your role</strong></p><ul>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Lead the development of fault-tolerant quantum algorithms and error-correction protocols.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Conduct and oversee simulations to validate the developed techniques.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Collaborate with hardware providers, software developers, and research institutions.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Mentor junior researchers and students involved in the project.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at conferences.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Stay updated with the latest advancements in quantum computing and quantum chemistry.</p></li>
</ul><br/><p></p><p dir="ltr"><strong><em>Your Qualifications</em></strong></p><ul>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Phd in quantum computing or relative field.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Minimum of 5 years work experience in the quantum computing field. </p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Quantum computing background, with extensive experience in developing new fault tolerant algorithms, and performing resource estimation.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Development of quantum algorithms for chemistry application, with strong knowledge of universal techniques such as quantum phase estimation.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Good knowledge of fundamentals of classical numerical methods and theory of quantum chemistry, such as molecular orbitals theory, variational methods and perturbation theory is preferred. </p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, and familiarity with quantum computing frameworks (e.g., Qiskit, Cirq, OpenFermion).</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Published high quality scientific research.</p></li>
<li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Strong experience of independent work, supervising junior colleagues/students.</p></li>
