Role Responsibilities:
Support Central Eastern Europe Surgery business
Support and drive financial forecasts for each planning cycle for your area of responsibility through engagement with key business partners, providing templates, data analysis and consolidating, ensuring accuracy, credibility and completeness.
Manage monthly and quarterly closing cycle, ensuring compliance, accuracy and timely submissions.
Support the controller on his/her finance business support where needed
Prepare/present diligent analytics on variances vs budget and lead meaningful conversations with budget owners and Senior Leaders to ensure transparency and alignment to business strategies and goals
Monitor expenses and provides insights to enable cross-functional leads to make agile resource allocation decisions across the organization
Detailed financial analysis, modelling, or critical metric reporting on ad-hoc basis
Support ad hoc projects, processes and requests as required including projects to help identify, plan and execute cost savings / avoidance and process improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with finance accounting policies & internal controls, support internal/external audit cycles as needed
Develop strong business partnerships with cross-functional areas including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain teams to deliver financial commitments and execution of business strategies.
What will you need to be successful in this role:
BS/BA degree in Finance / Business Administration or relevant field
Experience in business partnering strongly preferred
Fluent command of English
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally; effective presentation skills
Specialist in MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Tableau, Power BI, Microsoft Teams preferred
Ability to collaboratively challenge and influence others
Results oriented with strong prioritization skills, high sense of urgency
Analytical and able to work with complexity
Strong analytical and financial modelling ability combined with the ability to understand the business context behind decisions
Inquisitive and always looking for ways to improve processes and outcomes
Ability to interpret/use data effectively to generate improvement actions
Highly organized, detail orientation, and strong work ethic
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Business Intelligence knowledge preferred)
