In this role as Sr Analyst reporting HCB FP&A business, you will report to the Senior Manager of Consolidated reporting HCB FP&A. You will be responsible for consolidating and reporting financials, as well as developing management presentations and talking points for forecasts, budgets, and the multi-year strategic plan.
This role will work closely with HCB FP&A leads to ensure that the reporting of forecasts/budget and Strategic Plan is accurate and that HCB Long Term growth expectations are aligned with the strategic plan.


The successful candidate should exhibit strong communication skills, the ability to work on a fast-paced environment, and the ability to consolidate/report results to business partners and management to ensure the appropriate level of information is provided to senior leadership. This individual will be expected to be able to multi-task and prioritize multiple activities and responsibilities in a fast paced environment, with ability to work independently within guidance frame defined by management – includes financial reporting/analysis at both regular and ad hoc frequencies and building and reporting analytics via PowerPoint presentations. We are looking for individuals with a strong understanding of financial/corporate budgeting, forecasting, consolidating results and financial reporting.

  • Carries out analysis of projects of varying nature and complexity which may include: financial metrics, process improvement initiatives, etc
  • Develops impactful financial recommendations for executive leadership
  • Demonstrates technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc..)
  • Leverage strong financial modeling skills (Excel and advanced functions like Macros, Index Match, XLookup, etc)
  • Assist in the development of ad-hoc analyses and actionable recommendations for senior leadership
  • Leverage strong communication and presentation skills
  • Drives continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Has experience designing and executing process improvements

Responsibilities

  • Consolidation of SG&A, reporting and creation of executive presentations for financial budgets, strategic plan and forecasts
  • Collaborate with FP&A COE Leads to help ensure financial presentations and analysis are accurate.
  • Management / Consolidation of Strategic Plan business templates; creation of reporting and executive presentation for Strategic Plan, Goodwill Support.
  • Deliver high quality management presentations and talking points. Communicate clearly and present appropriate level of information to senior leaders.
  • Develop impactful financial recommendations for executive leadership
  • Continuous process improvement and leveraging of technology
  • Leverage strong financial modeling skills (Excel and advanced functions like Macros, Index Match, XLookup, etc)
  • Technical knowledge of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, etc..)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to develop reporting and consolidate results to business partners
  • Strong attention to detail & Proven team player with ability to work with all levels of colleagues, including managers and peers 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to understand complex financial concepts and perform detailed analysis
  • Prioritize tasks effectively
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of financial systems (Hyperion, S4, Oracle, etc)
  • Experience in the healthcare/insurance industry
  • Ability to interpret financial results within the context of the larger company strategy
  • Effectively employ both written and interpersonal skills in accomplishing responsibilities  
  • Demonstrate intellectual curiosity

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Quantitative field required
