The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Benefits Team:

RTX has an opening for an HR/Payroll Functional Lead (Manager, Business Systems and Transformation) ESS Functional Lead. Individual Contributor Role. Remote Opportunity.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead all functional work efforts for ESS platform, Hub, SSO, RPTP efforts
  • Receive requests for new functionality or enhanced functionality via email/O365 form automation
  • Work with Stakeholders to gather detailed requirements
  • Enter and track requests in Jira
  • Manage all lifecycle of requests, attending weekly status meetings to present updates, adding comments and updating Jira and workflow
  • Engage with technical team for reviews, timeline, ensure understanding of requirements
  • Support stakeholder in presentation of FRB and GRB; assist with understanding of CLARA requirement if needed; assist with creation of BRD, partner with stakeholder for UAT.
  • Ensure teams adhere to timeline and send reminders for BRD sign-off, UAT start and sign-off, attend Release Management and ensure readiness for release.
  • Communicate hypercare to stakeholder and provide hypercare support including liaise with tech team as needed.
  • Communicate production transition and production support link at end of hypercare period
  • Continue communication and relationship building with stakeholders, tech team, partner teams, to ensure smooth working across teams
  • Regularly update Jira and tracking to facilitate consistently accurate records and keep management up to date on any pending issues that may arise
  • Communicate any outage to stakeholders, and subsequent end of outage
  • Assist team as able in questions or troubleshooting, from a functional perspective
  • Keep documentation current
  • Provide guidance and assistance as needed for stakeholders around questions about ESS (vs. Workday, LDAP, external app, etc.)
  • Provide metrics of work as needed/requested from Jira.
  • Release Management: Review Jira tickets for upcoming Release Management meeting and send out reminder with agenda/items in “Approved for Release” status
  • Host/Manage Release Management Meeting, and FRB and GRB Meetings.
  • Jira Administration and Support for all HR & Payroll DT team
  • Manage and support Capacity Planning
  • Raise any immediate Improvement Needs in FRB/GRB Process (ex: Current Approval Matrix, Stakeholder Alignment Contacts).
  • Travel up to 10%

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically a minimum of 8+ years' experience in HR/Payroll arena and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.  Advanced Degree and 5+ years related work experience.
  • 5+ years' In-depth understanding of the Application Lifecycle Management process including how to evaluate, design, develop, deploy and support both custom and COTS solutions including multiple development methodologies, programming languages and technologies, integration platforms, and program collaboration environments
