NHQPurpose
- The Assistant Manager of Incentives Planning & Analysis will prepare, aggregate, and analyze sales and incentives related information for the industry to support the Incentives Planning & Analysis department. This role will be responsible for compiling data from various internal and external sources, analyzing the information, and providing reports and recommendations to senior management. This will include information to justify monthly Dealer Performance Bonus proposals, and to measure effectiveness of existing program. Due to high visibility and financial impact, the role will require strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
Major Responsibilities
- Perform HMA and Industry Data Analysis to:
- Monitor dealer performance programs of competitive OEMs at a national and regional level to determine competitiveness of HMA dealer performance programs.
- Monitor and analyze dealer and region inventory and historical wholesale performance and forecast future arrivals. Recommend Incentive Enhancements based on Analysis.
- Create DPB performance reports utilizing Excel, SAP, Tableau and CAARS.
- Calculate Incentive Efficiency metrics (by manufacturer using external data and by HMA models using internal information).
- Develop quarterly PEP forecast reports.
- Develop and cost ad hoc Incentive programs.
- Manage and Track Departmental Budget.
- Prepare presentations for management and occasionally present to executive management.
- Prepare communication of PEP programs for regional use and address concerns regarding PEP.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Analyze, cost, and maintain STAR program reports for Management including competitive analysis.
- Occasionally work evenings for timely PEP launch.
Authority
- This position will provide independent self-directed data analysis, gap analysis, issue/problem identification, and recommended solutions and Incentive Enhancements to senior management.
- Responsible for PR/PO and Budgetary Tracking.
- This role requires the performance of work directly related to management and/or general business operations.
- The exercise of discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance is required.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferredRelated Experience
- Five or more years of experience.
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
Skills/Knowledge
- Expert in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and MS Access database.
- Knowledge of CAARS, SAP, Tableau.
- Strong analytical skills.
