Program Summary: 

Lennar’s Technology Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June, in which associates apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects and challenges. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills, and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and teambuilding. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may have an opportunity to return to Lennar as part of the Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) program.   

Responsibilities:  

  • Assist in executing components of projects or solutions under direct supervision.  

  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans.  

  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and within the scope.  

  • Develop to proficient as a "Leader of Self," being a dependable individual contributor and, occasionally, a project leader for specific events or tasks.  

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals.  

  • Develop towards proficiency in understanding and applying principles of the Product Development Lifecycle and Project Lifecycle, irrespective of the methodology used.  

  • Contribute to the achievement of strategic outcomes by ensuring project objectives are understood and met.  

  • Develop to proficient in both written and verbal communication, tailoring messages to fit the audience and agenda.  

  • Provide regular updates on project status to stakeholders and team members.  

  • Develop novice to intermediate skills in the following areas:  

  • Integration  

  • Scope  

  • Schedule  

  • Cost  

  • Quality  

  • Resources  

  • Communication  

  • Risk  

  • Procurement  

  • Stakeholder Management  

  • Apply knowledge in these areas to support project success. 

Requirements: 

  • Current Junior graduating from a 4-year college or University within 2 years (preferred) 

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree in business administration or similar field (preferred) 

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Lennar will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunity (No Sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J1, Opt, CPT, or any other employment-based visa)   

  • Developing to proficient in leadership of self, project lifecycle, and product development lifecycle.  

  • Novice capabilities in ensuring strategic outcomes and leading project delivery on time, on budget, and within scope.  

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to shape messages according to the audience and agenda.  

  • Novice proficiency in project management knowledge areas.  

  • Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows    

  • Open to engagement in personal or professional development through learning opportunities (e.g., certifications, courses, professional networks)  

  • Interpersonal and customer service skills   

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail   

  • Analytical and problem-solving skill  

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
