This is done in conjunction with the objectives and policies of the hospital and the Nurse Practice Act of the State of Tennessee.

Hours of Position: 36 hours/week; variable shift (combination of 7p-7a, 7a-7p and/or 11a-11p or 10a-10p)
$10k Sign-on Bonus for eligible candidates:
Current employees and candidates who have worked at Vanderbilt within the last year are not eligible.
The Emergency Department is located on the 1st floor at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital (VTHH).
The environment on our unit is fast-paced, focused on teamwork, and full of learning opportunities.
We care for patients of all ages in our community who are being treated for a wide variety of urgent, emergent, or even life-threatening problems. Our patients are unique because of diverse diagnoses and specialized medical needs.
One of the perks of working on our unit is our dedication to teamwork which creates a family atmosphere. Our nurses are successful because they have strong assessment and communication skills, practice teamwork and collaboration, and are flexible to meet our patients’ needs.
We orient new nurses to our unit by providing a 2-to-12-week individualized unit-specific orientation with dedicated preceptors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
