About the team
This is an opportunity to lead Zillow Group's FinTech Application Development team. Our team supports Zillow Group's finance business functions including Accounting, Billing, Payments, Collections, Tax, Procurement, T&E, Treasury, PF&A, and AP among others. The team uses Finance systems' expertise to architect, build and support innovative solutions using native application functionality and custom engineered solutions in collaboration with FinTech application analysts, engineers, and product teams.About the role
Are you passionate about using your Finance systems and business processes expertise to coach and grow the careers of your team members? As a leader of the FinTech Application Development team, you'll collaborate with peers, business and product partners to develop your team on large and impactful financial initiatives in a remote work environment! You will serve as a technical leader, making pragmatic architecture recommendations and decisions and owning the overall quality of the features your team ships.
As a Manager, Finance Technology, you will:
Hire, mentor, motivate and manage a team of application developers
Provide technical leadership for your team and the broader organization.
Partner with product teams and peer leaders in Fintech team to build product and technology roadmaps.
Ensure the team is on track to deliver on established roadmaps and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results). Participate in org leadership reviews to track OKR progress.
Empower your people with knowledge, an inclusive environment, and opportunities to grow in their careers.
Exhibits strong engineering judgment, enabled by breadth and depth of experiences building and scaling resilient backend services.
Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, participate and support Scrum and Agile processes.
Who you are
BS in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience implementing and supporting Finance systems, particularly SaaS applications.
2+ years of people management experience.
Experience with SaaS platforms and enterprise applications (preferably Workday, Zuora).
Experience in Agile Software Delivery and project management tools such as JIRA.
Strong collaboration skills to build good working relationships with peers and stakeholders.
Passionate about mentoring and growing the careers of your team.
