POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the mission of the YMCA of Coastal Carolina and the Boys & Girls Club of the Grand Strand by providing critical financial assistance to the CFO and leadership team. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys digging into financial details, organizing and archiving documentation, and providing analytical insights to support data-driven decisions across two nonprofit organizations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Assist with preparation, analysis, and reconciliation of contribution and donation activity across YMCA and Boys & Girls Club programs
- Ensure all supporting documentation (invoices, donor letters, grant reports, etc.) is properly archived and easily accessible for audits and reporting
- Monitor and track FTEs across departments, providing reports and analysis for staffing decisions and budget planning
- Support credit card expense tracking, reconciliation, and compliance with internal spending policies
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making by the CFO and program leaders
- Assist in preparation for the 2026 budget cycle, including data collection, formatting, and early-stage modeling
- Coordinate with internal staff and external stakeholders to collect financial and operational data as needed
- Support financial processes tied to the YMCA’s role as the management organization for the Boys & Girls Club
- Adhere to organizational standards, policies, and accounting procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or accounting support
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SGA) and membership/donor management platforms (e.g., CORE) is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
