About the role

The NFL is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and highly organized Flag Football Global Associate to help drive several of the League’s priority international flag football initiatives. This person play a key role on the Flag Football team and work closely with the International Flag Football Lead to help shape the global growth of flag football through strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and high-impact program execution.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with strong analytical capabilities, deep knowledge of flag football, and a proven ability to work across diverse teams and cultures. This individual will serve as a key connector between internal departments, NFL Clubs, and global partners to elevate the sport’s presence and accessibility worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Global Tournament Framework
    Help design and implement a scalable framework for NFL Flag tournaments that can be localized across markets, international games and NFL Championship events, ensuring consistency, quality, and cultural relevance.
  • Resource Development & Deployment
    Assist with the creation and global rollout of shared flag football resources, including digital toolkits, training modules, webinars, and educational content. Partner with stakeholders to assess needs, identify gaps, and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Market Strategy & Analysis
    Conduct in-depth analysis of flag football needs globally across the NFL’s 13 priority global markets, with the guidance of international market and flag football leads, International Football Development, and the Flag Football team. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop tailored flag football event strategies and recommend market-specific activations throughout the calendar year.
  • Partnership Management
    Serve as the primary point of contact for external inquiries related to flag football, with a focus on global partners. Evaluate potential partnerships, manage communications, and support onboarding and integration efforts.
  • Event Support & Execution
    Contribute to the planning and execution of flagship initiatives such as NFL FLAG Championships and international game activations, ensuring alignment with broader League goals and brand standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2-3 years of experience in sports, with direct involvement in flag football strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, analysis, and program development; background in corporate strategy or management consulting is a plus
  • Experience in designing or delivering sports coaching and training programs is advantageous
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset with a high emotional intelligence and ability to build trust across teams and cultures
  • Passion for flag football and a deep understanding of its global potential
  • Experience working with international partners; multilingual proficiency is a plus

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week. This position is FLSA non-exempt and may require overtime as needed.
  • This job posting is for a position with one of the NFL’s third-party agency partners that provides services to the NFL. The individual selected for this role will be an employee of that third-party agency and not the NFL. All compensation, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment are handled by the agency. The assignment to provide services to the NFL will be limited in duration but may be extended for an additional period by agreement between the NFL and the agency.

Salary / Pay Range

This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of salaries or hourly rates that the NFL believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job in the location(s) specified. The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials, or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range. 

Salary $25$30 USD
