About This Position: We seek a Senior Systems Administrator with a robust orientation toward performance-driven outcomes. This role is pivotal in leveraging technology to enhance business processes effectively and address IT support challenges. The position requires managing a dynamic workload, 60% of which is dedicated to IT project initiatives and 40% to advanced user support. Success in this role is defined by your ability to transform technical challenges into opportunities for learning, business improvement, and strategic impact.

Key Performance Objectives

  • Initial Mastery and Independence: Within your first 30 days, independently handle and resolve internal support tickets, demonstrating high problem-solving skill and customer satisfaction. 
  • Operational Proficiency: By the end of your first 90 days, exhibit proficiency and autonomy in IT operational tasks, significantly reducing the need for supervision and demonstrating increased operational efficiency. 
  • Process Ownership: Within the first six months, take complete ownership of an end-to-end business process. Implement enhancements that result in measurable improvements in process efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Program Management and Innovation: By the end of your first year, effectively support consultants in multiple end-to-end client projects, delivering outcomes that enhance client satisfaction and demonstrate innovation in solutions and process optimization. 

Technical Expertise:

  • Advanced knowledge in VPN, firewall, and router configuration and management for hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure. 
  • Experience with EntraID and Active Directory management. 
  • Skilled in developing policies for end-user laptop security and usage. 
  • Proven experience in conducting security audits and maintaining data center operations. 
  • Proficient in CI/CD pipeline implementations and developing in-house applications using preferred scripting or programming languages.

  • Demonstrated ability to automate business processes, leading to significant enhancements in efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Expertise in simplifying complex technical issues for non-technical stakeholders and providing actionable, results-oriented solutions. 
  • Skilled in prioritizing issues based on their impact on business performance and outcomes. 
  • Strong communication abilities, especially in updating leadership and stakeholders on critical issues and progress. 
  • Confident decision-making skills and accountability for results, including a proactive approach to learning from mistakes. 
  • Resourcefulness in continuing education and skills enhancement through online courses, technical documentation, and other available learning resources.
