We're looking for Library Project Specialist to help move Iron Mountain into the future and become our next generation of managers and leaders..


PAY: 25.00 per hour (Paid biweekly)

Duration: 4 to 5 months

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday

HOURS: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

LOCATION: Madison, WI 53706


 

Responsibilities:

*** Special Collections Move and storage***

  • Label boxes and shelves clearly with location information for efficient unpacking at the new site. 

  • Conduct a detailed inventory of all library materials, including books, periodicals, audiovisual items, and special collections, to track items during the move. 
  • Create comprehensive packing lists and labeling systems to maintain organization. 
  • Properly pack library materials using appropriate packing materials to protect items from damage during transport. 
  • Carefully unpack and re-shelve materials in the new location according to established library shelving standards.
  • Moving of rare books
  • Some travel maybe required and overnight stay
  • Evaluation and development of project plans
  • Coordination with multiple internal and external groups
