About the role
The Senior Enterprise Risk Analyst evaluates, identifies, and reports levels of risk in the organization through assessments, complex analysis, reports and dashboards.Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:Job Duties
- Report and present complex risk assessment results to senior and executive leadership and/or Board of Directors as appropriate
- Design and complete enterprise-wide and targeted risk assessments, creating reports and dashboards
- Analyze complex data to calculate risks and outcomes, across multiple business units
- Aggregate and transform data from multiple sources to produce consistent results (Excel, GRC tool, PowerPoint)
- Audit data and establish quality control measures for mitigation of risk, making recommendations to leadership as appropriate
- Develop and maintain up-to-date documentation of risk mitigation processes
- Act as a subject matter expert, advise other business units in Enterprise Risk. Act as a risk subject matter expert and second line of defense to provide support and oversight to ensure effective operations with risk appetite and corporate standards
- Support various projects as required
- Mentor other Analysts on a day-to-day basis
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a business risk analyst role; within the financial services industry preferred
- Working knowledge of an eGRC tool required
- Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines
- Exceptional business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
- Ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive level audiences
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
- Ability to organize, analyze and interpret data to make recommendations
- Demonstrated ability to influence, as well as establish credibility and rapport with internal stakeholders
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; expert knowledge of Excel including use of pivot tables and macros
- Expert knowledge in project management principles
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance or other related field. Equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree is acceptable.
- Certification/License: Certification in the regulatory compliance field preferred but not required
