About the role

Your Tasks

Responsibility for steering the company’s efforts in the direction of the target solution which you and the domain jointly define
Responsibility for prioritizing development within, and also promoting the international technical and business solution, as well as supporting rollout and adaptation of corresponding use processes
Close contact (national/international) with relevant stakeholders and develop the product with and for them
Design and implementation of a vision that is aligned to customer needs, corporate strategy, and market conditions
Based on business cases, creation of an ambitious roadmap and implementation of goals within the planned time and budget plan
Working with other Product Owners in and out of Demand Planning to continually improve our company targets

Your Profile

Academic degree in business administration, computer science or a comparable qualification
Professional experience in a comparable position as Product Owner (m/f/d) or Product Manager (m/f/d) and in Agile Product Development (SCRUM / Kanban)
Operational experience in Supply Chain processes, preferably working within RELEX of similar tool beneficial
Experience in change management and professional team leading
Technical and product-related knowledge about Forecast & Replenishment
Analytical skills and used to responsibly working with enthusiasm for product development
Fluent English skills, proficiency in other European languages would be beneficial

Within the International Category Management Organisation, Demand Planning is responsible for the centralization and optimization of processes for forecasting future demand and setting order proposals, also for creating strategies to optimize stock and availability in the MediaMarktSaturn countries.
Our target is to improve availability, increase forecast accuracy and drive a higher degree of automatic replenishment. We are responsible for the blueprint definition and rollout at MediaMarktSaturn, while offering support and trainings. Our commitment is to achieve the highest level of precision in demand forecasting and inventory management.
