We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care production. This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, improving production systems, preparing for new product launches, and introducing new equipment technology.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in beauty, cosmetics, or personal care production. This role is responsible for managing projects from initiation to completion, improving production systems, preparing for new product launches, and introducing new equipment technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the single point of contact for assigned projects, managing timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation plans.
- Develop project execution strategies, oversee design and development, and ensure compliance with FDA, cGMP, EPA, and other standards.
- Coordinate new equipment and technology requirements for smooth product transfers.
- Design packaging lines, layouts, fixtures, and change parts; coordinate installation.
- Manage capital projects from planning through startup, including procurement and vendor coordination.
- Develop SOPs, process specifications, and equipment documentation.
- Supervise and develop a high-engagement workforce, setting goals and KPIs.
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or food production.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Experience with GMP practices preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule as needed.
