Managing Assortment Complexity (MAC) is one of the workstreams working tirelessly to deliver optimisations and savings for our farmer owners. We focus on cross-functional collaboration and driving efficiencies by managing the right level of complexity in our product assortment to deliver optimum between continuous top line growth and optimising cost structure.
How you will make an impact
We are now looking for a business partner to support the MAC team. The role will be placed in Supply Chain Finance, Costing and Master Data team, from where we expect the role to represent the interest of Supply Chain and deliver smaller ad hoc projects outside the MAC scope.
This is a high-profile opportunity for you to make a visible and significant transformational impact on Arla’s future. As our new Finance Business Partner for MAC Workstream your responsibility would be to take lead on driving thorough analysis of our product portfolio - identifying opportunities for the creation of a more profitable cross-market product portfolio, with improved speed to market to better serve our customers and consumers. You will be the key point of contact to the supply chain organisation – challenging status quo on our brand and product portfolio and managing a key stakeholder to ensure successful identification and implementation of MAC initiatives. You will dedicate approximately 80% of your time to the MAC workstream, with the remaining 20% allocated to other tasks within Supply Chain Finance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Representing Supply Chain in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
- Acting as an internal consultant, offering expert guidance on product assortment and portfolio optimization across departments.
- Delivering detailed operational insights to the MAC team to support strategic decision-making.
- Apply your strong finance toolbox of cost allocation principles to ensure MAC savings are clearly reflected in the P&L and ultimately in COGS.
- Conducting data analysis using SAP and other Arla systems to support business case development, reviews, and follow-ups.
- Continuously reviewing MAC ways of working and finance-related processes, proactively identifying and implementing improvements

- Experience with Power BI and SQL is a plus, especially if you’ve used these tools to support business cases.
- Fluency in English is essential, and additional European languages—particularly Scandinavian, Finnish, German, or Dutch—are an advantage
