Senior Software Engineer - FP/Scala/C#/TS

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who loves crafting thoughtful, scalable systems and collaborating with other talented engineers. You'll design, build, and maintain cloud-native products using Scala, TypeScript, C#, AWS, and containerized microservices—shipping everything from public APIs to internal platforms that power critical business operations.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll spend most of your time building, testing, reviewing, and improving software, while also mentoring teammates and helping shape technical direction. We care about clean architecture, ownership, and continuous improvement—not ego.

Requirements

• 4+ years building production software

• Strong experience with object-oriented or functional programming

• Experience with Scala, TypeScript, C#, or similar languages

• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Lambda, ECS, and cloud-native architectures

• Comfortable with Test-Driven Development, CI/CD, and Agile practices

• Experience with Git, Terraform, CloudFormation, Jenkins, Redis, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SQS, or RabbitMQ

• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently

• Enjoy mentoring teammates, reviewing code, and collaborating on architecture

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
