Park Place Health and Wellness, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN from 3:00PM - 11:00PM. Park Place Health and Wellness is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve! Add $2.00/hour differential to hourly pay rate for the Evening Shift.

Shift Hours: 3:00PM - 11:00PM.

Summary of essential job functions:

• Responsible to provide direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day to day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team.
• Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management.
• Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients.
• Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift.
• Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident’s treatment plan.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana.
• Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
