FP&A Manager - Retail

Purpose
Provides FP&A support to the Retail Partner Operations team. Tracks key performance indicators and offers insights into performance. Supports Retail Operations team with a variety of ad hoc reporting as needed.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Power BI reporting to provide the field teams with necessary tools to analyze business performance
• Build store level retail sales and purchases budgets and forecasts incorporating impacts of various business/program initiatives
• Identify purchase improvement opportunities by providing analyses of out of stocks and non-item movement
• Develop materials for weekly Regional Director meeting and presents insights on enterprise and regional performance
• Provide analyses and insights into business performance for the Weekly ELT meeting
• Prepare various ad-hoc analyses for period end reviews and Quarterly Board of Directors meeting
• Maintain weekly, quarterly and yearly scorecards to track sales, purchases and other business key performance indicators (KPI’s)
• Prepare accurate and timely financial and business-related analyses
• Compile and prepare accurate and timely reports, graphs and charts of data developed
• Participate in special financial and business-related studies as needed to support project objectives
• Partner with other departments in the preparation of analysis and to identify improvement opportunities that can provide positive results to the bottom line
• Apply moderate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of business issues
• Exercise independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action
• Own moderate processes and/or portions of complex processes with no visible drop off in performance to leadership
• Oversee and supervise analytics team members to coach and mentor them to deliver on daily, weekly, monthly and annual business deliverables
About You
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or other related quantitative field or an equivalent amount of experience required
• 3-5 years’ experience; preferably some experience with a big-4 or mid-tier firm
• Financial, mathematical, statistical, marketing, merchandising and consumer research background to read, interpret, and understand how internal and external factors influence financial results
• Knowledge of, Power BI, EDW, Tableau, and their applications preferred
• Financial forecasting and budgeting skills
• Organizational and project management skills
• Advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Plan and Access
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Ability to work across vast amounts of data from different data sources
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
• Possess excellent management and leadership skills and the ability to motivate and work with and through others to achieve desired results
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have the ability to represent the Company's interests to outside professionals and vendors
Physical Requirements
• Ability to travel up to ~10% of the time, which may include weekends and evenings, as needed
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at a desk or computer terminal
• Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone and other office equipment in the course of a normal workday
• Stooping, bending, twisting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
