<h2>Your Role</h2><p>The Microsurgery Business Unit at Carl Zeiss Meditec AG focuses on select customer groups including Neuro- and Spinesurgery, ENT and Plastic &amp; Reconstructive surgery, and Dentistry. Your role as Business developer will focus on one select customer group where you will help achieve our growth plans by</p><ul><li><p>Contributing to the development and execution of the customer group’s strategy</p></li><li><p>Identify, evaluate, and execute internal and external growth opportunities and manage the funnel</p></li><li><p>Execute and manage strategic projects</p></li><li><p>Build up deep knowledge about the inner workings of the corresponding markets, and the customer and competitor landscape</p></li><li><p>Stay ahead on the latest developments, innovations, and trends</p></li><li><p>Lead market intelligence and monitor the competitive landscape</p></li><li><p>Be the single point of contact for business development-related activities and corresponding functional expertise</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2>Your Profile</h2><ul><li><p>A degree with excellent grades in natural sciences, medicine, healthcare, engineering, or economics. PhD or MBA a plus</p></li><li><p>Professional experience at one of the leading management consultancies, in business development, or in corporate strategy required</p></li><li><p>Practical experience in strategy development, business development, and project management. Project experience in managing complex strategic projects, M&amp;A, or strategic partnership development</p></li><li><p>Profound experience in market and competition analysis, company evaluation, and business case development. Outstanding analytical competence and strategic thinking</p></li><li><p>Strong communication skills and ability to work in diverse and interdisciplinary teams</p></li><li><p>Ready to work in the medical device industry, with medical doctors and surgeons (inside and outside the operating room)</p></li><li><p>Experience within the medical technology industry a plus</p></li><li><p>Fluent English skills, German a plus</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Your ZEISS Recruiting Team:</p>Marina Löw
