Job Summary
As a Senior Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist within the Human Resources L&D department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing impactful learning programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and professional growth of Coalfire employees. You will collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design, develop, implement, and evaluate comprehensive learning programs.  You will have a deep understanding of learning methodologies, instructional design principles, and the ability to create innovative training solutions. You'll bring strong skills with planning, program development, and collaboration with stakeholders as well as strong experience with software applications and meticulous documentation.
This can be a remote position, though, residing near Denver, CO will be required (must be located in the United States). There is also opportunity for this role to have a hybrid schedule in our headquarters office in Denver, CO.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and senior management to identify learning needs and design comprehensive training programs. Leverage various instructional methods, including e-learning, instructor-led training, virtual classrooms, and blended learning approaches.
  • Apply learning principles and instructional design best practices to create learning experiences that are learner-centered, interactive and result in measurable outcomes.
  • Facilitate training sessions for diverse audiences, both in-person and virtually. Serve as a subject matter expert to deliver complex or technical content effectively.
  • Create technical learning pathways that outline a clear progression of skills and knowledge, supporting employees in their career development and growth within the organization.
  • Create engaging and effective learning content, including training materials, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and assessments. Ensure content is aligned with learning objectives and engages participants effectively.
  • Project Management: Manage end-to-end learning projects, including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring progress to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Ensure documentation and core competencies are compliant with operational policies and procedures, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Serve as a learning management system (LMS), content management system, and third-party learning platform administrator.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and refine the learning strategy that aligns with Coalfire learning objectives and is adaptable to changing industry trends.
  • Collaborate with SMEs, to inventory existing content and to create engaging and up-to-date technical training materials. Ensure that the content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with best practices and industry standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional technology, or a closely related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
  • 4+ years of work experience in designing, developing, and delivering high-impact learning solutions and evaluation methodologies, using a variety of innovative approaches.
  • Experience developing content for a technology organization, such as software and/or SaaS, cloud tech, PaaS, software, etc. 
  • Proficiency with e-learning design tools: Articulate 360 and Camtasia preferred. Experience must include end-to-end course building, needs assessment, course structure and design, content writing, graphic and audio editing, evaluation creation, and implementation.
  • Must be able to quickly adapt to rapidly changing business needs while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build relationships, collaborate, and work effectively with stakeholders and SMEs, within the Learning and Development team, and across the organization at large.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
