Born in Motorsports & Powersports, our products are now relied on by winning NASCAR, IndyCar, Trophy Truck, and other professional racing teams.
We are a dynamic and fast-growing start-up team, seeking a skilled Sr. Electrical Engineer Technician to join our team. As an Sr. Electrical Engineer Technician, you will play a vital role in testing and ensuring the quality and reliability of electronic components and printed circuit boards (PCBs) used in our innovative consumer electronic products.

What You Own

  • Conducting Testing Procedures: Perform various electrical tests on electronic components, PCBs (QFN/BGA), and assembled products using specialized testing equipment and tools. 
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and diagnose issues with electronic components and PCBs to assist in problem resolution and root cause analysis. 
  • Hand-On Procedures: hand assemble PCBA, Soldering, SMT (0402), reflow oven
  • Test Plan Development: Collaborate with the engineering team to develop comprehensive test plans and procedures for different stages of product development and production. 
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all electronic components and PCB boards meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations and safety standards. 
  • Test Automation: Implement and maintain automated testing systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in testing procedures. 
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, procedures, and any design changes made during testing processes. 
  • Test Equipment Calibration: Regularly calibrate and maintain testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results. 
  • Prototype Testing: Conduct testing on product prototypes to validate and verify design specifications. 
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and resolve design and performance issues discovered during testing. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Suggest improvements to testing methodologies, procedures, and equipment to enhance efficiency and quality. 

What You Bring

  • Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field or relevant years of experience  
  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer Technician or a similar role in testing electronic components and PCBs. 
  • Familiarity with electronic testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators, and power supplies. 
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuits, signal analysis, and digital and analog electronics. 
  • Hand-On Procedures including hand assembling, PCBA, Soldering, SMT (0402), reflow oven
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations for electronic components and PCBs. 
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation. 
  • Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for PCB layout analysis. 
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team environment. 
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a passion for innovation and working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
