The Product Analyst – P&C Workflow Distribution applies a consultative, change-oriented mindset to partner with business stakeholders and translate their needs into solutions that drive meaningful process improvements in the workflows. This role goes beyond executing current processes and focuses on reshaping how work gets done, acting as a thought leader who influences outcomes across stakeholders and teams.

Key qualifications include:

  • Experience designing, refining, and leading business requirements processes, including facilitating requirements‑gathering sessions, eliciting complex business needs, and translating them into clear, actionable documentation for configuration and development teams.

  • Serve as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, configuration teams, and IT, ensuring solutions align with business objectives while meeting project timelines, scope, and quality standards.

  • Strong Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance acumen, with understanding of insurance operations such as sales, claims, underwriting, and policy servicing, and the ability to connect technical solutions to measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience with business process management and workflow automation platforms (e.g., SS&C AWD/Chorus), including applying configuration strategies that drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the enterprise.

  • Ability to evaluate existing processes, challenge the status quo, and create, influence, and drive changes to current workflows to better support business goals.

  • Thought leadership capabilities, including the ability to recommend forward‑looking solutions, influence decision‑making, and guide stakeholders through change.

  • Working within Agile or product operating model environments, collaborating closely with Product teams, technology partners, and external vendors.

  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage, influence, and align partners at all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and guide solution decisions that balance business needs and technical feasibility.

You will be responsible for measuring progress against business outcomes and timelines ensuring the technology solution aligns to the business strategy and delivers expected business benefit measured by adoption of changes. You'll provide key support and insights to the Business Capability Owner, representing the customer point of view while also examining processes and practices to determine how to best support the outcomes.
