As a Pre-Sales Technical Manager, you will work with sales, NADO, reseller partners, and customers to provide solutions to unique technical challenges/gaps during pre-sales phase, addressing technical issues during deployment, onsite technical supports, conduct demos, and support shows/events.
Responsibilities
Become a technical resource on the Samsung Digital Display Solutions, as well as other Digital Signage solutions to North America sales team and partners.
Provide pre- sales technical supports for the North America sales subsidiaries, system integrators and/or end customers with Samsung Solutions
Support Samsung subsidiaries, System Integrators with model selections, specifications, and product questions.
Support System Integrators and End customers with general setup and use case of software and service solutions which include Samsung MagicInfo Content/ Remote Management service and Tizen platform (SSSP)
Provide tier 1 technical issue supports related to LED, LFD and other B2B display solution products and services in North America
Provide timely proactive pre-sales technical supports to:
Samsung Sales Teams
North America Business Development Managers
Liaise with key industry partners in Digital Signage market place and provide proactive market intelligence to PMs and SMEs.
Competitor landscape trend tracking and analysis
Produce How-To and Introductional videos for internal and external trainings on Samsung B2B solutions.
Support customers with technical solutions, including implementation and some maintenance support.
Coordinate with multiple workgroups to ensure business task is completed.
Attend and support the Samsung and/or partner events
Frequent domestic travel required
Candidate must be willing to work frequent additional hours beyond normal schedule in conjunction with Samsung teams located in Korea and deployments in North America.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering or business management or work experiences in related field.
Minimum 8 years of technical sales support or customer support
Must have current and relevant knowledge in digital signage solutions, audio/video and signal distribution technologies, IoT and device control systems, web application development, and Managed Services industry.
Must possess in-depth knowledge and experience with IT Distributors
