As a Principal SAP FICO Analyst, your role in the Digital Technology team is focused on designing and implementing solutions for the business using the SAP FICO platform in a fast-paced environment.

Medtronic is looking for a highly motivated Principal IT Business Systems Analyst – SAP FICO responsible for delivering and supporting IT solutions within the Diabetes Business group. As a Principal SAP FICO Analyst, your role in the Digital Technology team is focused on designing and implementing solutions for the business using the SAP FICO platform in a fast-paced environment.

​Successful candidate for this job must have strong understanding of financial and accounting modules such as GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Bank accounting, cash flow, and product costing. Must have a strong thorough knowledge of Order-To-Cash (OTC) and Procure-To-Pay (P2P) processes and their integrations with the finance modules. Candidate will ensure system implementation together with near-/offshore team members and collaborate with cross-functional business partners, domain architects, functional, technical and integration teams to define a solution and work towards implementing it. Candidate should have excellent problem-solving abilities, and a desire to continually learn and stay up to date with the latest SAP technologies. Additionally, they should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Experience as a leader in end-to-end global SAP implementation programs, responsible for designing and implementing the overall FICO solution.

• Responsible for gathering and verifying business requirements.

• Apply functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO/SD for analysis, design, configuration, modification, enhancement, testing, and support of complex IT systems.

• Integrate ERP computer software applications in SAP for the automation of financial processes.

• Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business processes and identify areas for improvement.

• System Design and Configuration: Design, configure, and test the SAP FICO module, ensuring integration with other SAP modules and legacy systems.

• Project Management: Lead and manage SAP FICO projects, including upgrades and new implementations.

• User Support and Training: Provide comprehensive training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the SAP FICO module.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and any changes made.

• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues related to the SAP FICO module, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT and business teams to ensure the SAP FICO module meets the organization’s needs.
