PayPal, Inc. seeks Sr. Product Designer in San Jose, CA
Job Duties: Works with cross-functional team members in the execution and delivery of PayPal’s Fastlane checkout ecosystem, using a customer-focused, iterative design process. Creates high-quality deliverables on a work stream collaborating with other designers and peers, within timelines and project requirements. Leverages and fosters the use of established product design techniques, templates, presentations, and assets in the creation of UX analysis, solutions, and materials. Creates interactive prototypes, templates, and contributes to our global design system. Plays an active role in our thriving, inspiring and rewarding UX Design practice and culture. Telecommuting permitted – work can be performed from anywhere in the U.S
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Information Architecture, Human Factors, or a closely related field plus five years of experience working in product design in fintech, banking and/or digital commerce.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience with user research, information architecture, and interaction design. (5 years)
2. Experience creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. (5 years)
3. Ability to design seamless commerce user journeys across multiple touchpoints. (5 years)
4. Experience creating scalable design systems for various platforms. (5 years)
5. Experience designing accessible digital products. (5 years)
6. Experience with Figma, including component libraries, design systems, and prototyping (5 years)
7. Visual design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout. (5 years)
8. Ability to lead and mentor design teams. (2 years)
9. Experience managing complex design projects. (2 years)
10. Ability to influence high-level product design strategy and decision-making within leadership teams.
11. Experience leading product visions and educating stakeholders. (2 years)
12. Experience conducting user research and collaborating with UX Research partners to develop learning plans and prototype testing strategies. (5 years)
13. Experience communicating insights across teams to influence product roadmaps and releases. (5 years)

Salary: $181,293.00-270,500 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
