We are now looking for an Technical Academy Trainer – Thermal Products to join our team in Tognana, Italy!

As the Thermal Management Trainer, you will design the Thermal Management Service courses and deliver effective and complete learning experiences to Vertiv Customer Engineers, Distributors and Customers. Moreover, you will be nurturing and continuously growing the network of the Academy Thermal Management Local Trainers.

 

What kind of work will you be doing? 

• Work with Thermal Management and Service LoBs to agree on training priorities and learning objectives as well as to ensure continue technical handover from Global Training team and from regional Engineering; 
• Define the content of Academy courses, working with the Global Training team; where appropriate, drive the activities of a technical committee in order to collaborative make decisions and approve training content and material;
• Define, prepare and update the training material covering the thermal product portfolio: online theoretical material and tests, multimedia tools, procedures, residential classroom material and practical exercises, final tests; trainer’s additional material and teaching notes; support the creation of TKO documentation; 
• Successfully and effectively deliver training sessions in blended learning: remote self-learning, residential classroom, final exams and diploma ceremony; if needed, deliver courses in other training centres or sites;
• Deliver Train the Trainers sessions and the local Trainer’s Accreditation process;
• Maintain the Tognana Training Area and the demo units at their best for welcoming students and providing effective and complete training experiences; support local trainers for their relevant Training Areas set up and accreditation;
• Participate in unconventional  educational activities (outdoor etc); 

 

What will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Energy Engineering or Mechanical diploma / secondary school 
• 5+ years of experience with Thermal Management. 
• Service experience preferable.
• Good written and spoken English with knowledge of the main technical language/words used in the relevant product application business. 
• Main IT applications (Office).
• Previous experience in delivering training - nice to have.
• Customer oriented.
• Ability to deal with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
• Communication skills.
• Flexible in terms on activities, planning and timing.
• Autonomy and self-organized.
