Sr. Graphic Designer

Basic Function

We are in search of a seasoned senior graphic designer proficient in art direction, capable of both inspiring and being inspired by colleagues, to elevate our creative endeavors. The ideal candidate will possess an innate sense of design and a fervent dedication for crafting compelling concepts that resonate with diverse audiences.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns
• Develop presentation approaches, styles and techniques for the team
• Assist with art direction and designing campaign level creative for traditional and social media platforms-
• Consult and advise on department creative needs
• Be an active brand ambassador and guardian
• Work with the Senior Manager of Creative Services to help assign design work and present creative concepts and finished projects to clients for review
• Lead and/or conduct meetings with team members and internal stakeholders
• Design, file, set-up and coordinate collateral graphics 

Min. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
• 8+ years of experience in graphic design
• Portfolio of dynamic, high presence multi-channel campaigns and brand development concepts (including print and digital) 
• Leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching junior to mid-level creatives, team members and internal stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to verbalize complex creative concepts
• Strong understanding of design principles, including type, layout and use of color
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Microsoft Office, CMS)
• Ability to think creatively to find innovative marketing solutions
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work at a fast pace
• Strong attention to detail
• Quick problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of mechanical file specifications and familiarity with all file formats

Preferred Qualifications

• Photography and video production experience
