Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Key Responsibilities:
The Product Owner I will be responsible for managing the product backlog or the prioritized list of requirements for future product development. The candidate in this role will write epics and stories (descriptions of desired solution or product functionality) in plain language, prioritizes team’s backlog and maintains feature conceptual and technical integrity. Responsible for the effective management and prioritization of defects and feature enhancements to ensure they are resolved at the right time. Maintains significant relationships and responsibilities outside the team, including working with Product Management and engaging cross-functionally to ensure successful delivery of the roadmap as planned.
- Gains familiarity with Product Owner concepts, practices and methodologies.
- Partners with Product Managers to understand product strategy and roadmaps.
- Typically assigned to work with one specific Scrum team.
- Assists release train and scrum teams via product increment (PI) planning, prioritization and software development details.
- Works with assigned teams to maintain velocity.
- Assists with prioritization and management of backlog and implementation.
- Partners with team members to build, enhance and manage one or more products, capabilities, or services.
- Assists with facilitation of solution optioning with Engineering.
- Learns and applies industry and the company’s Product Owner, Lean / Agile, scrum and related standards and policies.
- Supports special projects as assigned.

- Documents project meetings, including status reports on deliverables and next steps. Develops cost-benefit analyses, tracking and reviewing actual versus planned costs.
- Ensures project-related problems are surfaced, documented, and reported to appropriate project personnel and/or management.

- Knowledge and ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
