Overview

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Base Management Pricing to lead the development and execution of pricing strategies for our existing US customer base. This role will be instrumental in driving growth through pricing for current customers, improving customer retention, and maximizing customer lifetime value. The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in pricing, data analysis, and retention strategies. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day management of base pricing execution and will work closely with boundary partners in sales, field, marketing, finance, and customer care teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and execute pricing strategies for the existing customer base, including annual price increases, renewal offers, and retention programs.

• Manage the design, implementation and maintenance of all base customer pricing, retention-focused promotions and discounts within company systems and sales tools.

• Work with Retention leadership to identify and mitigate pricing risks, such as customer churn and margin erosion, by establishing and monitoring controls to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

• Partner cross-functionally with IT, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Care to ensure base management pricing strategies are executed accurately and effectively.

• Drive improvements in key metrics such as customer lifetime value, price realization, and churn reduction through strategic pricing initiatives.

• Oversee pricing governance from an operational perspective, including process documentation, training, and the development of quality frameworks.

• Work with Retention Analytics to analyze customer segments, pricing performance, and churn data to identify opportunities and provide insights for strategic decision-making.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field required. 

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Pricing, Finance, Retention, or a related field.

• Experience in a recurring revenue business is required; experience in pest control, home services, or a similar subscription-based industry is a strong plus.

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing pricing strategies for an existing customer base, with a focus on retention and lifetime value.

• Demonstrated success in pricing strategy and execution within a matrixed organization.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in pricing tools, Excel, and business intelligence platforms.

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Base Pay Range $135,700 - $176,400 / year

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
