About The Opportunity:
WES is looking for a remote Bilingual Research Specialist to join our Exception Specialist Team. This role will support and assist the team by conducting in-depth research on educational systems, credentialing practices, and relevant criteria for various countries to inform evaluation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong research and analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, a natural curiosity to explore and discover new information and a keen attention to detail. Language skills in Spanish, Arabic is a prerequisite. Advanced proficiency in English is also required.
This is a remote position with work hours from Monday to Friday, 9AM- 5PM Eastern Standard Time. All training will be provided.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct in-depth research on educational systems, credentialing practices, and relevant criteria for various countries to inform evaluation processes.
- Quickly assess potential risks by determining when further investigation is warranted and when to employ alternative methods.
- Assist in reviewing cases that require specialized knowledge and country-specific expertise, ensuring accurate and timely evaluations.
- Provide the Exception Specialist Team with informed guidance and recommendations based on research findings, helping to address unique and complex cases.
- Clearly and effectively communicate findings through both written and verbal communication.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive documentation of research findings and case assessments to support decision-making processes.

Your Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work
- Mandatory language skills in Spanish, French is preferred including, Arabic, and/or Farsi. Advanced proficiency in English is required.
- Genuine interest in international education and credential evaluation.
- Proven experience in research, data analysis, or credential evaluation, particularly in an international context.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear, structured, and professional manner.
- Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and allocate time efficiently in fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and contribute to a team-oriented environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting, demonstrating strong communication and engagement with team members.
