QualificationsWho are YOU?
You are a Quality Inspector conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products through the use of CMM, Laser, Arm Probe, and manual inspection tools. You will contribute to Pro-Type’s on-going support of our customers through the creation of essential quality reports, documentation, and corrective actions. Equally important is your ability to multitask, be highly organized, self-motivated, cooperative and collaborative.
What does your day/week/month look like?
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Conduct and report complete dimensional inspection documents for produced product
Conduct non-destructive inspection tests
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
What do you need for this amazing opportunity?
High school diploma / GED
Intimate understanding of GD&T
Strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
CMM proficiency (including PC-DMIS software)
Faro Arm proficiency (including PolyWorks software)
HIGH QA proficiency
SolidWorks or 3D CAD competence (dimensional query minimal level)
Working Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015
Metal manufacturing experience
