JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Cycle Department has an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor, Coding. This role oversees coding operations for Dermatology services, including General Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Cosmetic Dermatology, and Mohs procedures. The ideal candidate will work under minimal supervision to supervise coding program(s) and lead a high-performing coding team, ensuring quality, compliance, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Support coding staff
- Reduce redundancies in workflows
- Keep timecard and measure productivity
- Supervise a high-volume coding team, balancing workload distribution, quality assurance, and performance management.
Shift - 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday
Work From Home (WFH) - This is a work from home position. Applicants must live in the State of Texas.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
Required
- Education
Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or closely related field or
Associate's Degree in Health Information Management and/or closely related field or
High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience
3 years progressive coding experience with Bachelor's Degree or
5 years progressive coding experience with Associate's Degree or
7 years progressive coding experience with High School Diploma.
1 year experience in a lead capacity.
A coding certification or billing/coding diploma may be substituted for 1 year of experience.

- Supervises all coding specialists which includes hiring, onboarding, performance appraisals and disciplinary action.
