TxDOT's Odessa District is looking for a General Transportation Tech I, II or III based in the Crane Maintenance Office located in Crane, Texas. We have a workforce of over 12,000 employees statewide. If you want to build an exciting career, let’s talk!

Perform work that affects everyone on the roadway. Each day is new experience. Your office is outside. Learn to operate ‘Big Kid Tonka Toys’ construction equipment. Performs routine transportation operations or maintenance support work such as roadway maintenance and repair; light and heavy equipment operation; preventive and minor maintenance on equipment; traffic control; and helping the public during emergency situations. Salary Plan/Grade:

• General Transportation Tech I: A16 ($49,200.00 - $61,130.00)
• General Transportation Tech II: A17 ($54,000.00 - $64,469.00)
• General Transportation Tech III: A18 ($56,400.00 - $71,055.00)

Class A CDL without transmission restrictions holder- $2,500.00
