The University of Iowa Health Care is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support our Outreach patients within Bettendorf. This position supports our other clinics located within the building which includes but not limited to: Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Endocrinology. This position requires travel within a two-hour radius approximately once per month and includes the use of a fleet vehicle, along with paid drive time.

Our team specialize in the care of everyone in the family, in every generation, from birth, for life. Our LPN's develop relationships and get to know our patients and monitor patient care history and deliver personalized, compassionate care every time to each patient. When our patients need care, our providers connect them with the UI Health Care specialist they need.

Duties to include:

  • Provides nursing care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse.
  • Participates in the development of nursing care plans and in the implementation of therapeutic program for patients.
  • In less complex situations, may assume responsibility for directing and supervising assigned nursing personnel. In more complex situations, performs as an assistant to the registered professional nurse.
