The purpose of the position is to lead and develop the Center of Excellence for motion &amp; control within the Olsbergs BU. The CoE M&amp;C develops control system solutions for several divisions within HIAB. </p> <h2>Main tasks and responsibilities</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Participate and make decisions about concept selection, priorities, and insourcing/outsourcing of activities within the framework of CoE M&amp;C responsibility area</li> <li>Develop and implement processes that ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in the development work</li> <li>In consultation with product management and the own team, develop a strategy that ensures we meet product management’s and customers’ requirements and expectations</li> <li>Ensure that the control systems meet customer requirements</li> <li>Actively inform about market-, supplier- and competition situation as well as trends and other environmental factors</li> <li>Provide a basis for decision-making in the CoE M&amp;C product council (or other similar councils)</li> <li>Continuously update oneself and others in the area of product safety and its regulations to ensure that our control systems meet technical as well as statutory and safety requirements</li> <li>Help synchronizing relevant stakeholders</li> <li>Keep up to date with new technologies and trends</li> <li>Continuously develop CoE M&amp;C staff in accordance with the PDP process.</li> </ul> <h2>What you’ll need to succeed</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Engineering with specialization in Software Development, Electronics, or equivalent education/experience</li> <li>Experience in software and hardware development</li> <li>Experience with software and electronic systems</li> <li>Experience in strategy work (definition and execution)</li> <li>Strong leadership experience</li> <li>Project management experience</li> <li>Ability to structure and coordinate</li> <li>Drive for finding new solutions</li> <li>Fluent English is required for this role, and Swedish is considered an advantage.</li> </ul> <h2>You will be part of</h2> <p> </p> <p>We offer you a position in a global organisation where you are challenged with interesting and diverse tasks.
